I am new on steemit - only read this post now. Love this article and I see there are still uses of bicarb that I didn't know.
One thing that it is very useful for is a bladder infection. As soon as you feel the bladder infection coming - mix a teaspoon of bicarb in a glass of water. Drink it as fast as you can. It does not taste nice but the bladder infection will be gone in a few hours.
If this doesn't help you will have to consult a doctor.
