We’re having a family camp. The kids are super excited.
The only difference being that we’re camping in... the garden.

It was my mums 66th birthday at the start of the month and ages ago we planned a big fun camping weekend at a campsite site way before lockdown, to celebrate.
That plan all fell through for obvious reasons, but we all still wanted to camp. Especially the kids!
And we bought a tent last Christmas that we still haven’t had chance to try out Until now.
So we are doing the next best thing.
Luckily my parents back yard is big enough to squeeze in two tents. Just about.
The green one is ours, the other is my brothers family.
The weather has looked very bleak, but we decided to press on and camp whatever the weather and today has been ace fun all day even though there has been the fair share of drizzle constantly.
Tonight is forecast 45-50mph winds.
Yikes.
But we’re hardcore.
And it’s well sheltered.
Today has been fully brilliant though.
Games, fire food, marshmallows, music, more games, beer, more beer.
Just what we’ve needed to relax from these lockdown blues.
The kids are now successfully asleep, and now we enjoyl another beer.*
