As public indoctrination centers are transformed into maximum security prisons for children, more parents find they love their children too much to send them there.
Homeschooling has been increasing ~65% YOY, IIRC. Given that the top universities are competing for homeschooled students, who haven't had their creativity and desire to learn ground out of them by the boot heels of prison wardens, the existence of proof that parents in their spare time can outperform the government indoctrination centers with hundreds of billions of tax dollars and insidious purpose is a dire threat to the NEA and propagandists, and the system as a whole.
I'm surprised it's legal at all. I doubt it will be in ten years.
