I hadn't churned cream into butter since I was 10 years old. I remember how much fun it was. My grandmother had a large wooden churn that stood on the floor. I always got to help her with it. I looked at my cukes, and three of them are lying over, limp. I'm going to have to start seeds today, again.

Tom came out today to do the foliar, and when we looked at the squash planted on Friday, something had killed 1 of the zucchinis and one of the summer squash. Sigh... But I have 3 spares for each...
The cold got my cukes, so I had to replant some seeds and some zucchini too.
It sure annoys me when I plant something and and then some critter/insect promptly eats it. I gave all of my spares away to a neighbor today, so I'm hoping nothing dies after this!!
I did that last year, and hence, not cukes or orange pumpkins...
Oops.
