Hello steemians many people here love fishing and you dont need to buy worms you can just dig them.
Worm is perfect bait for many fish so here is some strategy how to catch worms for fishing:
- Locate a fertile black and moist patch of soil. This is where the worms for fishing will
be abundant. - Dusk is the most suitable time for catching worms for fishing. Dig the soil with a
shovel gently during dusk and be patient. - Worms are usually hidden under objects like rocks and leaves. Scour through them to
catch your fish baits. - Pick the worms carefully with your fingers and collect the worms for fishing in a
bucket . - Keep the worms persevered by storing them in dark, cool, well aerated containers.

Not only with fish, you can also use those earthworm to catch edible frogs. Usually these frogs are commonly found near the pond, rice field fill with fresh water
also you can feed chickens and ducks with worms and others birds in your homestead

If you’re a fisherman, then you are in constant need of worms. While running to the local grocery store or gas station is an option, it isn’t always the most convenient or the cheapest!
So I also use Cardboard Boxes Method
Probably the easiest way to gather earthworms is to simply leave a flattened, wet piece of cardboard out in the yard overnight. This will attract the worms to the surface (for several reasons) and when you remove the cardboard, there will be loads of worms!
Ohh you have fantastic soil there! Could grow a lovely vegetable patch in this very spot of the garden!
