What kind of chickens are those? I've only seen that type at county fairs. Is that breed better for eggs? What made you choose that type? (Besides how nifty they look lol.)

They don't lay a lot of eggs - and the eggs are tiny.
We basically chose them because they looked funny, lol

Thank you for the informative link. I hope to start creating my own small modern homestead in the next 5 years with my boyfriend, and we plan on having some chickens roaming around.

These are real quiet ones (we don’t have a rooster), and quite easy-going.
I would really recommend them :0)
