WoW.... that really is a cute baby lamb.

Also, Good job with the photographs, but You always tend to take very good photographs.

Quick Question... when a lamb has black markings around the eye... why is that preferred ?

The markings around the eyes are preferred because there is a breed standard. The sire of this heard doesn't have the black markings around the eyes or the muzzle, and he also has the white colored horn's, which is throwing off the genetics of this flock. I'm going to swap him out this year and allow a true sire to breed the flock this fall so next spring the kids should be more in line with what the Jacobs sheep breed is supposed to look like.

Not all the words are accurate and that part above, but it was the talk to text.
