It sure would be easier to just cut a lintel out of boards. However, that would be flammable, and less resistant to other environmental hazards, so I do find the concrete construction to be well justified. Weird you're being censored by the 'tube. Sorry to hear that.

They do have ready made but they connect less with the wall and are surprisingly expensive
