Sweet boy at the vet...

in #hong7 years ago

My darling Raymone, a true charmer, has been vomiting for 2 days, not eating and barely drinking. The vet took an Xray and there is no blockage. His bloodwork was normal. I have no idea what to do... He won't eat and is listless.
Anyone here with any ideas? image

Try a B complex immediately . Dehydration is a huge problem and serious.

Thank you!
Is there a specific cat dose?

About 1/10th of a human dose. It is not dangerous as far as a possible overdose. You can use over the counter B Complex that you can get at a health food or grocery store for humans

Thank you for your kind advice.
It was a a tragic week for us as he ended up (having swallowed a string), undergoing 3 surgeries. He had holes in his gut and they patched it up as best they could.
He was on a drip and antibiotics, but had a raging infection, peritinitus, and it moved to his lungs.
After his third surgery to evacuate the infection he recovered, but a few minutes later just stopped breathing. It was all just too much for this little guy and his sweet soul left us.
Thanks again for your advice! We would have done anything to keep him with us.

oh, no. Poor kitty. He is so beautiful. I am sad. So sorry. I love cats
