It usually has a timeframe, or if not, the giver can take it away at his discretion.

how would i got about to delegate Steem Power to someone else and at what cost does that come?

I'm not entirely sure, I can't find the article I read earlier. Will reply here when I have more info, so far that's what I know. You can try asking in chat.

Someone has to want to give you power to vote with. If you look at my account you will see a negative number there because I have delegated that much power elsewhere.

what do you gain from delegating power ?

Me? I gain nothing. I lose. The project that I have delegated to gains the extra curation rewards that my power allows for.

what do you mean by that?

I don't understand your confusion. What I said is literal. I don't gain anything by delegating. I actually lose out on my curation rewards because of it. So I lose money. However the project I delegated to, gains more curation rewards from it's votes, because it votes with my power.

ahhh sorry I misread it the first time! This is just really interesting to me and steemit hasn't failed to surprise me with all that the platforms does.

So how do you choose who to delegate your SP? just curious

I work with a project to promote science content, so I delegate to that. It gives away money to new and deserving authors. @steemstem

So do you gain anything when the project you delegated to, gains more curation rewards?
