Good advice indeed. I use Nord VPN, (just dumped surfshack, pretty crap tbh) and duck duck go as a rule.

If I enter the dark web yes the VPN and the Tor browser are essential.

I do know that there is a dark web. But no clue how to get there 🤔

Also no need for me to go there. Don't even know what I can find there.
But I can imagine that the dark web could be more insecure then the light web.
