Those are the kinds of people who deserve far more punishment than they ever get because it is the one kind of personal crime that cannot be blamed on accident or ignorance, but only on clear intent to steal and do resulting harm to another.
I have no sympathy for that kind of thief, nor would I do anything to make their lives better or to forgive them for their crime.
I hope you have some bad news to share about their future.
