As others have commented, the U.K. already had all those things...in fact, most of them originated in the U.K., starting with the Magna Carta... as is mentioned.
The E.U. has just served to bureaucratize everything, without real justice. Now you can't voice an opinion that might 'offend' anyone.
It's okey @mmo-mmo. Here, in Latinamerica is the same.
Everyone has "delicate" skin and everything is taken as an offense to the majority, to the minorities, to the diferntes, and not to make jokes is possible because someone always offended
