On the surface, this really tickles me Fancy, which is not easy to do ;)

Seems these folks have a network proposal for a radio backup system, I read about it a bit and it would be pretty high fees as compared to normal online blockchain. Makes sense, but the ICO is not exactly burning up the charts, Round One has only generated 11% funding. Looks like 4 rounds, cuz they had 100% bonus for round 1 and 75% bonus for round 2, etc. In theory one would need over 25% funding in round 1 to attain the goals, as most times these things taper off after a big start. HMMMmmm...

That's my head spinning around in a quandary :D
Just for sake of thoroughness, here's the whitepaper link if your curiosity is piqued:

I am by NO MEANS endorsing this, and in fact, my personal SHTF Scenarios are either:
A. Not severe enough to need this, or at least need it for very long. The internet will be back up soon enough that we will be able to access our crypto.
B. So severe an SHTF that crypto will be obliterated, or totally useless for a long enough time that ability to trade and transfer would be a moot point. Since it is backed in Fiat, even that will likely be kaput and PMs will rule the day.
I see no reason personally to prepare for this narrow band of possibilities?
Big Crap-Shoot, IMO! ;)
As Usual, RANDOM EARLY COMMENTS WILL BE HEAVILY UP-VOTED starting the next day after posting!

Everything related to crypyos is a crap shoot. I think ICOs are losing their luster, since people are so focused on established coins.
Yes, the NEW MONEY is mainly rushing into BTC, new(er) bank$ter ca$h is going into ETH, ETH spin-offs and XRP, and lots of "old money", meaning the seasoned crypto hodl'ers, are moving to attractive Alt Coins. Any new ICO's these days had better be set of kill, have done their marketing homework and have a stellar whitepaper and all star Dev Team and Investor lineup. I like to look at coins that are well past the initial "pump-n-dump" phase, and have settled into a steady but slow growth pattern. With all the underlying fundamentals boxes checked off.
See U tomorrow, Mike ;) U^V lol

Yes, it seems to me that if I am relying on radio frequency back up, the blockchain may already be lower on my list of concerns today? Maybe I am overlooking something though.
