RE: Who says a communist can't have a sense of humour?

Who's the communist? Btw, the US's onslaught against the ICC is not because the latter's criticism to the US horrific human rights abuses, it's just because the ICC accepted Palestine as a member state and started investigating Israeli crimes against the Palestinians, listen to Pompeo again when he confirms that in talking about 'allied state' and how the ICIC is not 'getting the consent from the allied state', it's like asking a killer his approval for prosecuting him for a crime he committed, in this case non stop crimes over more than a century.

Sort:

Who's the communist?

Caleb Maupin, the journalist.

... he confirms that in talking about 'allied state' ...

Isreal is not a signature of the ICC Treaty either, so you are correct, yet allies also refers to such war criminals as Tony Blair.

I don't know the journalist, thought you're referring to the channel.

Germany wasn't a signatory to Nuremberg regime of trials yet its officials were all Nuremberged, mainly for crimes done by others including by those who persecuted them.

Caleb is one of the cooler communist known to me.

It is possible to envision a conviction by the ICC but the likelyhood of Isreal or the USSA giving up their citizens is highly unlikely.

At least they won't feel comfortable traveling to countries that are signatory to the ICC like Canada and most of Africa, even the UK I guess.

A small comfort at least.
