Alive And Thriving - December 15, 2022 - IMPACT YOUR GENERATION
Impacting your generation does not have to be one grand act that the whole world needs to know and then celebrate you and you become famous. Those in your circle of influence are priority before your maker and whatever you do for one person is considered grand with God. If one person could breathe better because you lived, you have impacted your generation.
God is not interested in you impacting the world if you cannot impact the person next to you. It is to love your neighbour as you love yourself, and your neighbour is always the person next to you at any time “T”.
You have what others need, and you must learn to see value in yourself to be able to communicate it to others. A lot of us are held back from making a difference because of our idea of making a difference. If it is not big or grandiose, we think it doesn’t matter, but there are people around you who are hurt, people who need your old clothes or left-over food, there are people who can benefit from your experience, your wisdom, and your counsel, your prayer, your fasting, your compassion, your contacts, your influence, and preaching. God has given you talents and abilities that you can develop and use to become a blessing, he has also given you resources to deploy, and daily opportunities you can maximize to serve others.
To serve is to attend the needs of others. Look around you and the needs you see in your generation that you can meet is the platform for your service to your generation and your opportunity for impact.
Anytime you see people complaining, that is an opportunity to make a difference, to create a product or to offer a service that can impact and change lives and make you relevant.
SO, START WHEREVER YOU ARE, WITH WHATEVER YOU HAVE, AND WITH WHOEVER YOU CAN.
