[美 SEC, 사기성 ICO 혐의 '오포티' 기소]
코인데스크에 따르면 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)가 사기성 ICO를 진행했다며 블록체인 기업 오포티(Opporty)를 기소했다. 화요일 SEC가 제출한 기소장에 따르면 오포티 인터내셔널, 오포티 설립자 Sergii Grybniak는 2017년 9월~2018년 10월 OPP 토큰을 사기 판매해 미국 등지의 약 200명 투자자로부터 약 60만 달러를 챙긴 혐의를 받고 있다. 피고는 감독기관에 토큰을 등록하지 않아 미등록 증권 판매 혐의가 적용됐다. SEC는 이어 "피고는 잘못된 정보를 제공해 투자자들을 현혹시켰다"고 설명했다.
