Here's what I know so far about the site, if you posted here being a small Youtuber (me), it is far worse than startling a youtube channel from scratch. The reason why I say it was a good move for you is because you already have the size needed to grow here. To my surprise people are allowed to bot here for monetary gain. And because of that a small 1% of users on this site earns the most money while hogging all of the reward pool money from everyone else. The Pewdiepie of this site is named "GrumpyCat" who had an account value of 100M dollars by using bots. Sure you can use bots but then grumpycat will simply dislike one of your videos or posts and boom, almost all of your earnings would be gone. So investing might not be a good idea. As you can see it is no different here as youtube, even though it's "decentralized" someone will claim the tittle and make the rules when there is no rules to begin with and ruin it all for everyone else. The site creators aren't doing much to solve this either,as they just prioritize people talking about the site over anyone else just posting content like yours. And that's pretty much my experience here.
