Have you ever been annoyed with the long list of numerous restaurants making it hard to choose where to eat from? Have you ever tried to check a recipe they offer, only for you to be disappointed when you get there? Worst still, have you ever been on a date and you had poor service reception?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions and you want a solution to this? Well, you can rejoice! Because I have found the solution for you and it is “GastroAdvisor”.
GastroAdvisor
GastroAdvisor is the first ever global recommendation platform, using the blockchain technology (Ethereum platform) specially aimed at getting the best experience out of restaurants and dining venues. GastroAdvisor, was trademarked in Switzerland in 2016. Owing to the participation of several people, GastroAdvisor became a platform for research, recommendation and booking of restaurants and food places around the world. GastroAdvisor collaboratively works with users of these places to create high quality, transparent and trustworthy information.
Well over two years of research was invested for the development of a prototype and a first Alpha version which can solve the problems related to the online gastronomic sector and to give effective solutions to users and restaurants.
How it Works
A gastronomic user goes online, using the GastroAdvisor mobile app, locates a restaurant of choice, physically goes to eat/drink in the restaurant. He shares pictures of what he has gone to do and he earns tokens (FORK). He has the option of either paying at the restaurant through conventional means or using the earned FORK tokens (payment can be done by scanning the QR code available at the restaurant), which will be used on the platform as a voucher for the affiliate restaurants to obtain discounts, benefits and blockchain certified reviews.
He also rates and shares reviews about the experience at the restaurant which is made publicly available to any other person who also views this restaurant online. This is a chain process which never stops, hence providing a unique experience for everyone who visits this restaurants.
Merits
Fine, we have Google places doing this job, same as trip advisor, but the truth is none does it better than GastroAdvisor reviews (as seen in the figure below). One of the motivations for people doing whatever they do is “Money”, this however can be in the form of Fiat currency or even in cryptocurrency, hence the incentive attached to the activities to whenever you use the GastroAdvisor app, rate and share honest.
The advantage of this platform is that it is intuitive, simple to use and offering users the ability to communicate and describe their experiences through reviews certified with Blockchain. The Token from GastroAdvisor, FORK will be used as a reward for users who through honest reviews and sharings, contribute to the growth of the community, while Big Reward will initially be given to restaurateurs who will be affiliated to GastroAdvisor, contributing with accurate information and accepting the token. GastroAdvisor is presently in talks with prestigious restaurants to sign collaboration agreements. This will help them in delivering on promise.
Final Thoughts
GastroAdvisor platform will help users find new and enjoyable restaurants satisfying their expectations and enrich their everyday life. Restaurants will also be able to connect with new customers and reward the regular ones. They will, in addition, be able to freely manage their private informations and their page in an independent way.
