Bitcoin Private - Thought this was supposed to be a great investment?

It was a big deal to invest in ZCL to get BTCP after the fork.
What happened that it did not work out ZCL is $6 and BTCP $33 currently at a major loss
Will one of these go up to make the effort worth the investment? Or was it another bunch of hype?
