What is Essentia?
Essentia is a decentralized framework that will give the users full control and ownership over their data, IDs, information, privacy and assets and this can be used by humans, machines, IoT devices and lots more. This is made possible using cryptographic seed capabilities of sign/ verify/ encrypt/decrypt to make the system to be secured.
This is because the user or device accessing these data in a decentralized systems is the only one with access to the seed.
Essentia will enable users to create, store and access their data with just one seed and the user will be able to have access across all the dApps from anywhere, anytime on any device both on-chain or cross-chain.
How Does Essentia Works?

Essentia can be used to build on/off chain framework which can integrate with other projects in a way the user would not have to rely on intermediary applications for doing simple tasks such as logins. These can instead be done in a truly decentralized way. By signing and verifying a message after a successful handshake/challenge between the parties.
For example, the user can have access to multiple Dapps and resources and interact with them and all their respective accounts, configurations, preferences, and so on, by just accessing their Seed/private key that loads the user’s personal.
Why Invest In Essentia?
I have four thing I normally consider when choosing or analyzing an ICO for an Investment it includes; the product, the road map, the team and the partnership
The Product
Essentia already have a working product which they have integrated with other project, unlike most ICO which would want to rasie millions of dollars with idea on white paper, no prototype or even common MVP.
The Road Map
A closer look at Essentia road map shows that they are inline with their road map with their Q1 2018 target almost met remaining the concluding of their ICO to complete their Q1 set targets this is one of the things I like about projects that always follow their road map and achieve their set targets this gives investors and token holder confidence about the project.
The Team
Going through their team member both their LinkedIn profile, they have quite a huge number of team members and they are well structured having Tech and Design team, Business and Social team and the team member I really like is Matteo Gianpietro Zago who created his first project with a budget of 10 euro and it turned into a huge success. Also they have a good collection of advisors one of whom have raised $19M with his charity project, AidCoin.
Partnership
This is to me far more important as an investor becuase this what will determine and drive the value of the token higher. Conclusion
I am rating this project high by my standard of ICO evaluation this is because they already have a working product and have integrated with quite alot of other project and also they have a good niche and with the potential of sealing a deal with netherlands-government which when happen will bring more countries onboard and this will make the demand for the token to grow in value thereby returning huge investment to the investors. I personally will have this token as a long term HODL
