I agree with your opinion, doctors usually do these kinds of things like threatening and all those arguments, maybe these kinds of things are being done intentionally or by the order which is right back, but i think that your decision of not admitting your mother was very much correct..
I could see the frustration on his face when I did not budge, he got so snappy at the end and I was just wanting to end it there and run out of the hospital.
