I am not fond of religion or superficial spirituality with unfounded claims, but even I agree with this sentiment.
But now saying this, I wonder what discoveries in history we perhaps may have over looked if not opening the places that say "Beware" or "Forbidden"

Id believe it, the main issue with Mesoamerican history is precisely as you say. Written by the Spanish invaders during the inquisition.
