Since the Indian government ban, the Chinese App Instagram emerged as an alternative to Tiktok with its Reel feature. There were many apps on the Google play store as an alternative to Tiktok but that app user interface was not good like Tiktok therefore the majority of Tiktok user switch to Instagram because of its Reel feature which is very similar to Tiktok.
Instagram Reel feature was only available to the official full version of Instagram. At the end of the year 2020, Instagram started testing the Reel feature on lite version of Instagram and now after successful testing, it is live on lite version of Instagram. Now if you are an Instagram Reel feature fan then you can use it on its lite version also.
