Dan means Danish (Varun Dhawan) is a trainee in one five star hotel in Delhi. Friend's like Shivali (Banita Sandhu) and manjeet(Sahil Vaḍoliya) are also with him! Dan does not take any work seriously in his life but his dream is that he want to own a restaurant. He's daily routine is like coming to hotel in the morning, looking at the work, doing lunch and dinner and go to sleep again next day same thing, it is normal life!
One day shivali gets injured in an accident and goes into coma, then what changes happens in his life ? This uncommon presentation of this common story is 'October' movie.

In the beginning of this movie, It looks like you are just seeing a dream. For 10 minutes, you will believe that in the film nothing interesting is happening but slowly the film starts to bind you and slowly slowly unknownly you will join their life trip!
Beautiful music, fantastic screenplay and views of the scenes and the beat of the rhythm has been added to the extent . As a traditional Indian audience, there was a lack of soulful dialogues, Shoojit also did not put anything except daily sentences in the dialogues. Juhi Chaturvedi wrote a very simple screenplay.
As an act of acting, Varun dhawan appears as commercial hero .This role like a commercial hero of varun dhawan will be shocking for the audience. In his first film, Shivali (Banita Sandhu) got his powerful presence. In the mother's character the presence of geetanjali rao gives strength to the film.
Another thing should be taken in to consideration is that along with beautiful cinematography, editing.The mention of Shantanu Moitra for the background score of the film is most appreciating work. His music has took the film to a different level. In All, this is a story of uncommon dream of a common man which is engraved on 'October' . This love story showing us different face of love that we haven't seen before.
