Recently Facebook India has been accused of ignoring the Hate Speech content coming out from the ruling party in India i.e. BJP. Check this article by Wall Street Journal.
There have been instances where BJP politicians used the platform to spit venom against a particular community. Facebook India’s public policy director Ankhi Das was named in the article for her views on taking actions against such situations. It seems like government of India is using FB as its personal marketing asset to appease and attract voters.
