So then ...landlines are a luxury 😊. Well, it depends on your telephone company. For me it's cheaper bundled with broadband services. And did you calculated the high depreciation of mobile handsets which needs to be replaced every year or two? Costly handsets even needs insurance. And we don't yet know the cost and implications of constant radiation exposure.
And even when you loss your cordless handset, you can reach your wired base handset 😉 BTW, good counter points!
