Why do Mosquitoes make that Buzzing Noise?

Do mosquitoes seem to like buzzing around your ears? Basically, they are attracted to heat and carbon dioxide, both of which we constantly exhale. Every time you exhale, you release a cloud of carbon dioxide that potential mosquitoes can smell and follow. Mosquitoes have sensors around their mouths that allow them to detect carbon dioxide and this allows them to find you up to 50 meters away.

It makes sense that some people tend to be more focused because they naturally produce more carbon dioxide. Those who are larger or heavier exhale more gas, making them more likely to be on the mosquito radar. Plus, if you've been running and you're feeling a little out of breath, you might be surprised to see all the mosquitoes trying to keep up with you.

The legendary chirping of mosquitoes is produced by both male and female mosquitoes, although females emit a higher-pitched chirp. It is possible to hear the hum of male mosquitoes, but most people never hear it because they feed on nectar and plants and leave us alone.

That's why mosquitoes produce that buzzing noise
