We booked in Shivapadam cottages that comes with no AC since the place is already cold being surrounded by greenery. It costed around 1500.

Bhai this post increases my interest more ..I have been looking to visit this place since few month...now for sure will make it.....what are the eating option at this place ? Do we need to do some online booking ?

You have to visit. It's beautiful specially after monsoons because of greenery. Once you get down at the railway station you get direct buses to the location from the bus stop.

There are eateries there specifically Moondram Pirai outside the gate which serve you authentic South Indian foods like Dosa, Idli which are delicious. You don't have to pre-book meals.

Wowowww....will get back to you once I fix my travel date.
