Isha Yoga Center - One of the must visit places in India

Nestled amidst the tranquil Velliangiri Hills in Coimbatore, India, the Isha Yoga Center is a serene haven for those seeking inner peace and holistic well-being.

Founded by the renowned yogi and mystic, Sadhguru, this sprawling 150-acre complex offers a unique blend of spirituality, yoga, and nature.

At the heart of the center lies the Dhyanalinga, a powerful energy form and meditative space. It is a place where people of all backgrounds come to experience a profound sense of calmness.

The vibrant architecture, lush gardens, and the Velliangiri Mountains in the backdrop make it an awe-inspiring setting for spiritual seekers.

The Isha Yoga Center is also home to the Isha Foundation, which offers various programs, including the Inner Engineering program, designed to transform one's life from within.

Visitors can book cottages for around INR 1500 to INR 3000 per day depending on the type of room they prefer.

We booked in Shivapadam cottages that comes with no AC since the place is already cold being surrounded by greenery. It costed around 1500.

Our room had a beautiful view of the Velliangiri Hills from the window.

For those looking to embark on a spiritual journey or simply unwind in the lap of nature, the Isha Yoga Center is a place of solace, where the body, mind, and soul can find harmony amidst the beauty of Coimbatore's hills.

It's a unique destination where the hustle and bustle of life take a back seat, and tranquility reigns supreme.

I would recommend a visit to this place if you are from India or are on a visit to India. It will sow a spiritual seed in you once you visit this place. And you will keep going back for more.

Thanks for reading.

Bhai this post increases my interest more ..I have been looking to visit this place since few for sure will make it.....what are the eating option at this place ? Do we need to do some online booking ?

You have to visit. It's beautiful specially after monsoons because of greenery. Once you get down at the railway station you get direct buses to the location from the bus stop.

There are eateries there specifically Moondram Pirai outside the gate which serve you authentic South Indian foods like Dosa, Idli which are delicious. You don't have to pre-book meals.

Wowowww....will get back to you once I fix my travel date.
