ﻣُﺤَﻤَّﺪُ ﺑْﻦُ ﺳَﻠَّﺎﻡٍ ﺃَﺧْﺒَﺮَﻧَﺎ ﻋَﺒْﺪُ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﻋَﻦْ ﻋُﺒَﻴْﺪِ ﻋُﺒَﻴْﺪِ ﺑْﻦِ ﺑْﻦِ ﻋَﻦْ ﻋَﻦْ ﺑْﻦِ ﺑْﻦِ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤَﻦِ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤَﻦِ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤَﻦِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﻭَﺭَﺟُﻞٌ ﺫَﻛَﺮَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪَ ﻓِﻲ ﺧَﻠَﺎﺀٍ ﻓَﻔَﺎﺿَﺖْ يناه ورجل قلبه معلق في المسجد ورجلان تحابا في الله ورجل دعته امرأة ذات منصب وجمال إلى نفسها قال إني أخاف الله ورجل تصدق بصدقة فأخفاها حتى لا تعلم شماله ما صنعت يمينه
Abu hurairah r.a: said: said the prophet saw:
- There are seven kinds of people who will take shelter under the auspices of Allah, in the heart of no shade except the shade of Allah: *
A fair priest (leader), and a young man who diligently worshiped Allah. And people whose hearts are always attached to the mosque. And two people who love each other because of God, both when they gather or separate. And the man who was invited to commit adultery by a beautiful noble woman refused, saying: I fear God. And the person who is giving alms in secret until his left hand does not know what is given by his right hand. And the dhikr remembers Allah alone to tears. (buchary, muslim)

Although this tradition describes the seven kinds of characters who guaranteed his safety by Allah on the Day of Judgment, but were very stressed by this tradition is the first character, which is a fair leader.
Not that we underestimate the six characters afterwards, but the character of a fair leader is indeed a milestone for the benefit of all humanity.
Without a fair leader, this life will be trapped into a deep pit of suffering.

If a leader applies the law equally and equally to all citizens who commit wrong or violate the law, without choosing, the leader can be said to have done justice.

Abu hurairah r.a: berkata: bersabda nabi saw:
ada tujuh macam orang yang bakal bernaung di bawah naungan allah, pada hati tiada naungan kecuali naungan allah:
Imam(pemimpin) yang adil, dan pemuda yang rajin ibadah kepada allah. Dan orang yang hatinya selalu gandrung kepada masjid. Dan dua orang yang saling kasih sayang karena allah, baik waktu berkumpul atau berpisah. Dan orang laki yang diajak berzina oleh wanita bangsawan nan cantik, maka menolak dengan kata: saya takut kepada allah. Dan orang yang sedekah dengan sembunyi-sembunyi hingga tangan kirinya tidak mengetahui apa yang disedekahkan oleh tangan kanannya. Dan orang berdzikir ingat pada allah sendirian hingga mencucurkan air matanya. (buchary, muslim)
Penjelasan hadits
Meski hadis ini menjelaskan tentang tujuh macam karakter orang yang dijamin keselamatannya oleh allah nanti pada hari kiamat, namun yang sangat ditekankan oleh hadis ini adalah karakter orang yang pertama, yaitu pemimpin yang adil.
Bukannya kita menyepelekan enam karakter sesudahnya, akan tetapi karakter pemimpin yang adil memang menjadi tonggak bagi kemaslahatan seluruh umat manusia.
Tanpa pemimpin yang adil maka kehidupan ini akan terjebak ke dalam jurang penderitaan yang cukup dalam.
Untuk melihat sejauh mana seorang peimimpin itu telah berlaku adil terhadap rakyatnya adalah melalui keputusan-keputuasan dan kebijakan yang dikeluarkannya.
Bila seorang pemimpin menerapkan hukum secara sama dan setara kepada semua warganya yang berbuat salah atau melanggar hukum, tanpa tebang pilih, maka pemimpin itu bisa dikatakan telah berbuat adil.
Namun sebaliknya, bila pemimpin itu hanya menghukum sebagian orang (rakyat kecil) tapi melindungi sebagian yang lain (elit/konglomerat), padahal mereka sama-ama melanggar hukum, maka pemimpin itu telah berbuat dzalim dan jauh dari perilaku yang adil.
Sudah yakinkah pemimpin kita adil ?
Dan jika dirimu seorang pemimpin,sudahkan dirimu tegakkan keadilan ?
