Kali ini saya mau bercerita tentang sejarah sepatu Adidas yg mungkin para steemian pernah memiliki kenangan dengan sepatu Adidas.
Sejarah sepatu ini sangat terkenal dimulai pada era tahun 1920 oleh Adi ( Adolf ) Dassler di ruang cuci milik Ibunya. Kala waktu itu Adi Dassler membuat beberapa usaha kecil-kecilan dengan membuat sepatu olahraga. Disebabkan tingginya kualitas sepatu yang dihasilkan oleh Adi Dassler, akhirnya bisnis kecil-kecilan tersebut membuahkan hasil. Pada tahun 1924, Adi Dassler dan saudaranya Rudolf Dassler mendirikan "Dassler Brothers OGH" yang pada akhirnya menjadi cikal bakal Adidas sekarang ini.

Penggunaan logo Adidas dipergunakan pada tahun 1948, pada saat dua bersaudara Dassler tersebut berpisah. Sepatu buatan Adi Dassler mencapai titik kesuksesan dengan diakuinya merk sepatu Adidas dipajang pesta olahraga dunia seperti Olimpiade Roma, Melbourne, Helsinki, dll.
Pada tahun 1972, logo Adidas mengalami perubahan yaitu dengan menggunakan konsep "Trefoil Logo",:logo dengan visual tiga daun terangkai. Konsepn tiga daun memiliki simbolisasi dari Olimpiade pada 3 benua. Sejak itu pula Adidas menjadi sepatu resmi yang dipergunakan pada event Olimpiade diseluruh dunia.
Pada akhirnya setelah bertahun-tahun berjaya dan mengalami lika-liku perkembangan usaha bisnis di bidang sepatu pada tahun 1996, kala itu juga Adidas mengalami modernisasi dengan menerapkan konsep "We Onew Then - We Know Now" yang kurang lebih menggambarkan kesuksesan masa lalu dan kejayaan hingga saat ini. Adapun logo baru yang digunakan secara visual berupa tiga balok miring yang membentuk tanjakan yang mengandung arti kekuatan, daya tahan serta masa depan. Sejak saat itu juga logo Adidas tidak pernah mengalami perubahan serta tetap masih berjaya hingga sampai saat ini.
