Aceh province consists of nine tribes, namely Aceh (majority), Tamiang (East Aceh Timur District), Alas (Southeast Aceh Regency), Aneuk Jamee (South Aceh), Aneuk Laot, Simeulue and Sinabang (Simeulue District). Each tribe has its own culture, language and mindset.
The commonly used language is Aceh Language. Inside there are several local dialects, such as Aceh Rayeuk, Pidie dialect and North Aceh dialect. As for Gayo language known dialect Gayo Lut, Gayo Deret and Gayo Lues.
