Cendana (Santalum album). Sandalwood or fragrant cendana, is a rare plant producing sandalwood and sandalwood oil. The wood is used as spices, incense materials, aroma therapy, a mixture of perfume, and bayonet bayon (warangka). Sandalwood is a parasite plant early in life. Sprouts need a host tree to support its growth, because its own roots are incapable of supporting its life. Because of this prerequisite sandalwood difficult to breed or cultivated.
The fragrant sandalwood (Santalum album) is now very rare and the price is very expensive. Sandalwood is considered an alternative medicine to bring people closer to God. The base oil of sandalwood, which is very expensive in its pure form, is used primarily for healing the Ayurveda way, and to relieve anxiety
