Life as I know it
Playing by the rules, you get nowhere...
Play dirty and you're there
That's the law of the jungle, here!
In this world where corruption grows
Amidst Humans are demons and hoes
That's just how the river flows
Riding the wind, humanity slays
The demon king atop the ladder stays
Watching over, as our crimes weighed,
Sacrificing heavens, to hell we strayed
Where fate stood weaving, as we lied,
Walking upstraight as HUMANITY died.
The ghosts, the children they hàuntéd
Dragging to the depths of hell,
The souls of the one's, once they always wanted
Removing the masks, what we see then?
Familiar faces, their minds bent
With the seed of life, the pain is gone
Walking on fours, in chastity's lawn
Every minute, a child is born
With hopes of revival, humanity begins a new dawn...

Darn.. That was a pretty deep and intense poem! Nice work! Sounds very similar to something I would create, I like your style! Even if a bit dark, sometimes you gotta point the darkness out in the world, or you're not getting the whole story.

Thankyou @apolymask , it's necessary for the evolution of humankind that we know our shortcomings our dark sides because someone once said.. "WITHOUT KNOWING YOUR DARKNESS, YOU CAN'T HOPE TO BRING LIGHT INTO OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES" 😁
You're welcome. And while I partly agree.. I don't think we should take that as a justification to explore the dark side "too much" if you get what I mean. Yes it's incredibly important and part of the "duality" thing, but.. Some people especially in the occult take that and use it to justify all kinds of dark things towards others, which is not something I agree with and I'm not saying you do either, I dunno what you believe totally. I just wanted to make that distinction.
Ohh, I totally agree with you... Knowing your dark side is good but falling to the dark side is by far the most stupidest thing I've seen people do. It's like going to buy the candy in exchange for some broken toys you had and eventually buying all the broken toys in the store. You went there to look for the LIGHT and stayed behind engulfed in darkness😂😂 STUPIDITY IT IS!
