An overcrowded train ride through Germany shared by climate activist Greta Thunberg was taken by many as a swipe at Deutsche Bahn’s service, but the railway company soon shot back, reminding Greta about her seat in first-class.
Public transport occasionally brings with it delays and overcrowding, even in uber-efficient Germany, as Thunberg discovered on Saturday.
Tweeting a picture of herself sitting in a passageway beside a mountain of luggage (shown above), Thunberg described her ride through Germany as “overcrowded.”
But then a spokesperson for Deutsche Bahn, Europe’s largest railway operator, stepped in to give his company’s side of the story. “We were pleased that you were on the ICE 74 with us on Saturday, and with 100 percent green electricity,” DB tweeted.
“It would have been even nicer had you acknowledged how well and competently our team treated you in your First Class seat,” the company continued, the sarcasm barely concealed.
Of course, you will not see anything about her 1st Class ticket in the MSM.
Isn't it amazing how the glbs will lie on even trivial matters, because they know a 1000 small lies accumulate and grow into 10 huge lies, confusing and fooling the many.

Well, actually the photo was taken BEFORE they got her in first class, so it was a storm in a tea cup as usual. She also wasnt implying any fault, only a fact the train was overcrowded, which is a good thing as they are in demand. I would suggest that those who are quick to jump on this as conspiring are also furthering own agenda lol - @riverflows

I have been on public transport and even on German trains. I just think its a storm in a teacup. Greta was just saying it was overcrowded and she WAS sitting there as another woman came out to say she was there too and had photo to prove it. Plus, Thunberg said she was there for 4 hours BEFORE going to first class, which was no big deal. The train company were just snitchy because they thought she was implying they were to blame, but if you take the words as factual and face value, which is characteristic of autism, then its just a girl on a train. Hardly a big deal.
...and I am willing to do all I can to ridicule them...in the hope it wakes up a few of the younger generations.
