The Issue of Immunity May Become Interesting ...

So where does General Flynn go to get back his reputation? It might be civil court and Comey, Stzrok, Page, McCabe, Priestep, and Yates may be at the other table. Because they committed their deeds while working for the Department of Justice, will they be entitled to absolute or qualified immunity? If what they did to Flynn was a crime, will they have to defend themselves? Outside of my expertise, but I hope DOJ declines to defend these dirty bastiges if and when they get sued in civil court. Let them start paying some lawyers and having to sell their home. How 'bout them apples?

Was just listening to something from Dave Smith about Flyn. Sonds like Flynn was going to help Trump gut the deep state so they went after him. Sessions recused himself so deepstate didn't get him

I have seen multiple potential explanations for the targeting:

  1. Flynn was likely to help Trump torpedo the Iranian deal (which Trump did anyway)
  2. Flynn is an intel pro and would have quickly figured out what Brennan and pals were up to un 2015 and 2016 with respect to spying on the Trump campaign (the onion is still be pealed back daily on those issues)
  3. As you suggest above, Flynn knows the bad actors in DC and would be particularly effective in rooting them out. Here's to hoping he still gets his chance.
