Yeah, Bourdain was just so authentic that he seemed impervious to the pressures of life. For me it was a stark reminder of our fragility, I think.

I actually think that there's a reasonably good chance it's real and their hand was forced by these whistleblowers. Whenever money is involved there's a paper trail no matter how hard they try to conceal it. Someone was finally smart enough to go at it from this angle. There are definitely trillions of taxpayer dollars unaccounted for that disappeared into the abyss. At best it's a massive misappropriation of funds, at worst it's something that will rewrite our conception of reality.
