Chapter 11: Free Agreement:
I particularly like chapter eleven of that book, The Conquest of Bread. I prefer as much Free Agreement as possible. Individualism becomes too selfish most of the time. But at the same time, I don't want to force people to share too much and too often. Yes, people should be encouraged towards collectivism, towards sharing with other people in local communities, tribes, towns, among family, friends, etc.
Local Militia
In the 1700's, the United States did not have permanent military armies. They were temporary. The citizens, thanks to the second amendment, are supposed to be the army unto themselves and to protect themselves from their own tyrannical government. People should vote and decide if they want to defend their borders (their nation) from invaders. Sadly, the USA became a corporation in some ways, according to what has been happening, particularly in 1871 for example. People have been infiltrating the government of the United States of America for many decades now to destroy it, to invade it from the inside-out. I hate crony capitalism, corporatism, monopolism, the tech cartels, the Federal Reserve, Big Pharma, the wars all around the world, big oil stuff, geoengineering, etc. America should not have military all around the world. And we should not be aiding so many countries, etc.
Welfare
I hate excessive amounts of federal welfare. I would prefer as little as possible, if not none. Because, instead of people relying on the welfare of government which they acquire from taxes which is theft, people should be sharing their welfare, their stuff, money, resources, etc, with each other, if they want, when they want, where they want, how they want. We do better as humans when we choose to care for each other. Sometimes, people choose not to share. But like Winnie the Pooh said, sharing is caring. One of the biggest problems is that too many governments in the world are too tyrannical, big, excessive, invasive, corrupt, and authoritarian.
Try this one on.
It is even better.
Chapter 9: Can The Church Help You?
Yes. Christianity has been helping the world. I strongly disagree with the arrogance, the ignorance, the deception in chapter 9. There is a difference between real Christians and fake Christians. Big difference. But you probably don't know about the differences. You have probably only seen fake Christians. Therefore, you assume that all Christians are like that. You don't know that but you choose to assume that. You live off your assumptions. That is your religion. Your church is your assumptions. You worship your assumptions with all of your heart. You refuse to question your assumptions.
For the record, the authors i may point you towards are trapped in their time.
Mostly more than 100 years ago.
They should not be taken as authoritative, merely enlightening.
Guiding, not directing.
It is up to us to stand upon their shoulders, if we are to reach for the stars.
We should be able to avoid their clearly mistaken decisions.
Oh, and,... your sacred cow was dead a long time ago, if it ever lived at all.
Leave it behind.
I'm strongly against Catholicism. I agree with the concept of standing on the shoulders of others.
I am against authoritarians of all the various stripes,...
I agree.
Indeed; thanks again for the link my friend! :-) And have a Merry Christmas! 🎄✨
Hmmm.. That link is very interesting indeed. Everyone should read it; I only read the contents-table and the introduction but I'm sure the rest is equally enlightening :-)
Yes, the problems of the world have been solved before.
We just slept while the criminals manipulated our waking hours.
I think enough folks are gettng squeezed through the cracks now to begin a transition back to reality.
Its called the fourth turning, a generational cycle of humanity. I've been tracking it.
