Great post, very informative! The craziest part is, when you say monopoly, most people would think about the e-commerce part, but Amazon is so much bigger than that and most don't even know it. I'm really hoping some of these blockchain projects mature and come to fruition such as SIA coin and really challenge the cloud space. It is scary to see Bezos getting so cozy with D.C. though. The alarms started ringing for me when I heard he bought the Washington Post, but I didn't realize how many government contracts they have. Another fun fact, Bezos owns the most expensive house in D.C. I really wouldn't be surprised if their second HQ comes here to D.C.
