Hopefully more people will wake up, and this mandatory mask wearing soon will be over.
I'm not saying it's easy, but it all starts with one person having the courage to take the mask off. When pressure is applied to put it on, simply say "no". It's uncomfortable for a moment to do that, but more comfortable than the hours of oxygen deprecation caused by silent consent. Might your workplace fire you? Maybe. Keep showing up willing to work and see what they do. Will transport kick you off? Maybe. Keep showing up, expecting a ride and see what they do.
They depend on you more than you depend on them. You are valuable, you are precious, you are essential to them for their society to function. Don't believe their lies when they imply that you're expendable. They need you. It's easier for you to find work, than for them to find workers. Forbid yourself to believe otherwise.
The mandates will NEVER end until the people make it end. Those in power will never volunteer to take their own power away. And they are drunk with power right now.
If we want to breath easy, compliance + time is NOT the answer. Waiting for someone else to do it is NOT the answer. The responsibility of an awake person is to behave like an awake person: look different (no mask), behave differently (say no), and take transformative action.
A person pretending to sleep can never be awake.
