From the Washington Examiner:

  • The Steele dossier formed an essential part of the initial and all three renewal FISA applications against Carter Page.
  • Andrew McCabe confirmed that no FISA warrant would have been sought from the FISA Court without the Steele dossier information.

  • The political origins of the Steele dossier were known to senior DOJ and FBI officials, but excluded from the FISA applications.

  • DOJ official Bruce Ohr met with Steele beginning in the summer of 2016 and relayed to DOJ information about Steele's bias. Steele told Ohr that he, Steele, was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected president and was passionate about him not becoming president.

I'm thinking the more they are hyping this, the less substance in this memo.

Trump is trying to maximize the effect of the release because he is playing the DC establishment's game and using it to his advantage. He is beating politicians at their own game, politics. This is why he is viewed as such a threat to these pos oligarchs. He represents the antithesis of a politician but he is schooling the politicians time and time again. Trump has learned the political game quickly and has demonstrated proficiency. But the reason why he has been successful at politics is the fact that he understands people and he has the ability and the desire to give people what they want.

yeah I completely understand what you are saying and I really struggled with including him in this mix. I am thinking and hoping that at the end of all this he will emerge as the victim in all of this conspiracy.

As an ordinary red-pilled American, I don't see anything in the memo that I didn't already believe to be true. The release tells who signed for the FISA application. Since I'm not a lawyer I don't see what is additionally bad.

I guess if I was in a Jury now, and the case rested on any FBI testimony, I'd have to vote not guilty.
