A Propagandist’s Tool: Repetition

Another tool of the Propagandist that becomes easier to spot, once it's recognized, is repetition. If you look, you can see it on a regular basis in the Main Stream Media, and in the Entertainment industry's offerings, especially on the small screen. Repetition has the effect of reinforcing propaganda that has already been introduced to the public. Enough repetition of a meme, and that meme can become common knowledge, regardless of the absolute truth of the meme, or not… i.e. how many months were we force fed the Russia collusion meme, and where is it now?

Sometimes the repeated meme can be slipped into seemingly unrelated articles, and at odd times. The more times a conditioned person sees a meme, the more likely it will become part of their belief system... unless they have strong opinions backed by facts in opposition. But, does it matter if a person opposes the meme when all around them are convinced of a propagandist’s truth? How many of us stand up to the propagandist's zombies and shout our truths at them, only to be knocked down with the labels of 'you're just a crackpot conspiracy theorist' and then outright anger? How far will most people go to inform their Bosses they're wrong in their beliefs?

Many people still accept at face value what the News tells them is true, and they become more accepting of that truth the more they hear it repeated. To get those believers to accept that their core beliefs are false is difficult, if not nearly impossible – most people have a really hard time admitting that they were deluded in the first place by the deceptions of the Propagandist, and since they've been propagandized to believe that the MSM is telling the truth, they are uncomfortable looking elsewhere for News. When the MSM’s lies are exposed, many just change the channel, turn off the News all together, or go to the worse source of all, social media. As hard as it is for people to accept that they've been duped, it's even harder for them to admit that they were wrong all along. Even fewer understand the extent that the Propagandist's lies and conditioning have effected them.

So, let me give you an example about how the Propagandist uses repetition. A couple weeks ago there was a big media dust up centering on #permitpatty. The focus was on the possible racism that was on display in that incident. Sparks flew, and memes were tossed all over the MSM and social media. But, did anyone notice the other issue that was part of that incident? When did it become illegal for a child to sell sealed containers of water to passersby, and why? Since when did Americans become afraid of children selling goods and services to neighbors, has there been a dangerous outbreak of people being poisoned at a kid’s lemonade stand? Have people died eating brownie’s at a school Bake Sales? When did American’s cry for ordinances protecting us from the possible health dangers of bacteria laden cookies? Or, is it just because Governments don’t like to lose out on possible tax income? I find it totally ironic that junk food and even commercial fast food is allowed to be sold in School cafeterias, but not home baked goods.

Anyway, with racism the focus in the #permitpatty social outrage meme, how many people even really bothered to wonder about the legality of a child selling sealed bottles of water? That in my opinion, is because many of us have become so conditioned by repetition, over-and-over, we wonder, "is it even legal to sell fruits and vegetables from home gardens anymore?" And, that's just the way the Corporate controlled Government wants citizens to be, "Be afraid of your neighbors tomatoes, and only buy safe food from commercial farming."

Some of the other oldies, but goodies in the Propagandist’s repetition toolbox, are these subjects slipped into News stories… global warming, gun control, abortion, Terrorism, just which Countries we should consider our enemies, and on… and on…

Keep an eye out…
don’t let the Propagandist lull you to sleep with the lullaby of repeating memes.

Right, and often it’s just catchy half-truths that we’re inundated with. For example, “seat belts save lives”, well yeah, sometimes, but often they cost lives too; so why doesn’t the state ever mention that?

At it's root, propaganda is about controlling the citizenry of a country. As the Propagandist pounds away at our freedom loving psyche, through fear for our safety... as in the case of safety belt use, we are led to believe that our Government has our best interests in the forefront of their concerns... Control through fear is an excellent tool...
