Nice to hear from you again my friend. I personally don't think Dan is a profiteer. I mean, do you really think he makes a fortune making these videos and reporting truth? Same for many others like Luke at wearechange; independent journalists obviously don't get rich. They do this day in and day out. So, I guess we'll have to disagree on this one.
All platforms have issues. Where did you hear (verify?) that Parler is owned by Google? I have did some quick research but have found nothing to this effect. All I've been able to find so far is that Dan Bongino invested a stake in the company as did the two founders. As it is a private company, this information does remain obscure (and should also definitely be taken with a large caveat).
For Molyneux, as a philosopher, he can definitely tend to stretch a thought into what can result in a 20-minute utterance. But that's his style. To each his own.
The main idea here, is to have places where people can express themselves freely without being shadow-banned, censored, or banned. So, far these alternatives seem much better even though the masses aren't there yet. Will they likely change when the masses do get there and start censoring? Probably. As the bigger a platform gets, the more likely it is to be bought/taken over by these corrupt interests. Been like that for thousands of years and ain't gonna change. But for now, in our fast-moving society, it's the best we've got. And if you can suggest some better alternatives, I'm all ears.
Respect. Cheers my friend.
