RE: NATO and Terrorists Bomb Syrian Town Killing and Injuring Civilians including Children

in #informationwar2 years ago

On paper NATO certainly is a defence alliance, yet the view point that NATO members are politically pressured to participate in US and turkeys wars (syria, iraq, afghanistan ect..) is also common among NATO countries such as Germany. In fact 5% of Germans voted a party (die linke) that promised to exit NATO. Our new foreign minister is also likely to take a tougher stance against these political pressures and end German military involvements in US their wars.

It is true that no side in Syria are angels, but who is the lesser of the evil? ISIS? turkish trained FSA forces that kill kurds and christians? or Asad that actually has a track record of giving women equal oportunity and education? who you think is more fit to rule syria? my bets are on Assad...

hence as a voter of @blocktrades I ask thee to end censoring his posts, as this is a free speech platform and his viewpoints are certainly a common one even among NATO countries.

@steemcleaners just as i have asked blocktrades, I would kindly ask you as well to uphold the freedom of speech on this platform. as i stated in the above comment to blocktrades, @arabisouri does represent an opinion that is popular even within NATO countries and hence should not be brushed aside. I firmly believe that repression of opinion would only lead to extremism and represses discussions necessary for our democracy, and would not distinguish hive from facebook (which is partly responsibly for the rohinga genocide due to its anger causing algorythm)...
