RE: 50 Years of Failed Eco-pocalyptic Predictions

Drakos the problem is you conflate headlines and single predictions, as opposed to hard science.
We have had many-many indicators and there has been extreme proof of what is going on.

And then you show red herrings of atrocities which are important that we need to handle as well.

But, as it turns out had we been handling climate change the atroities you listed would not be as extreme and in some cases not exist at all.

Food security is less possible because of the disappearance of arrid land (either from lack of water or flooding),

Dependence and support of Aggressive Regimes occurs because they have fossil fuels.

Pollution of the environment with waste products in many events happens because a lack of alternatives.

The problem is in large complex systems you can either spend much more time and energy , to handle all the problems if you do not deal with exacerbating causes.

I am not going to go into a long issue by issue debate. But even small change against status quo, takes extreme actions and vocaling by minorities.
