The architectural bureau Clare Cousin Architects in common with Sosiable Weaver construction company was developed and have built the Australia's first house with "positive carbon balance". "the 10-star house" is in a coastal zone and is constantly open for visit, including, as the visual aid, for students, future architects and builders of the Sosiable Weaver company.
Creators of the house have considered all aspects concerning strict requirements of ecology, beginning from construction materials and finishing with bed linen. They even had to work with suppliers to reduce package sizes of the delivered materials, and during construction all waste of gypsum cardboard and wood went to processing.
Electric power source of "the Ten-star house" — 5-kW solar panels installed on a roof.
