Why God Hates Gossip?
It causes discord! When Gossipers get together to talk about others they don’t miss a beat. They get the scoop and wanna know: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How about EVERYBODY! They are motor-mouths, speaking lies and running folks down!
TAKE HEED: If you happen to be part of a gossip conversation where someone is sowing discord, lying or scandalizing another person’s name, but you never tried to DIVERT the convo to wholesome talk, YOU are guilty for allowing it. Stay away from ALL gossip!
Ephesians 4:29-Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Matt 12:36-But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
