After this, in the year 1910, Clara Jatkin suggested to celebrate this day at international level during an international conference of working women. In this conference, about 100 working women from 17 countries were present, all these women supported the suggestion of Clara Jetkin. This was followed by the celebration of the day in 1911 on the first day of 19 March in many countries. This was the first international women's day in this way. But till now no day was fixed for celebrating it. After this, during the First World War in 1917, Russian women protested for food and peace (bread and peace). The protest was so organized that the emperor Nicos read to be forced to leave his position and after this, women also got the right to vote. The day the Russian women started the strike, the day was February 28, and this day was 8 March in the Gregorian calendar, since then the International Women's Day was celebrated on 8 March. Despite all this, it was officially recognized in 1975 after many years, from this year the United Nations was decided to celebrate it with a theme. Its first theme was "Celebrating the Past and Planning for the Future".
