Fight For Internet Freedom

There is a site called Battle For The Net (https://www.battleforthenet.com/) which has a lot of resources on how to contact your local representatives through social media, e-mail, and even over the phone to let them know you want a free and open internet.

If you have some time, look to the left side of the site where there is a box that says 'send a letter' and either type your own letter or send the pre-written one in the box to your local representatives.

Also feel free to scroll down the site where it will list your local representatives and send a message and/ or call each one, letting them know that you want an open and free internet and not to end net neutrality.

Here is the direct link to the site in case the hyperlinked site above doesn't work for some reason: https://www.battleforthenet.com/

You can also directly send a message to an e-mail account that the FCC established for Open Internet Order comments. That email is [email protected].

Feel free to type out an e-mail explaining why you support net neutrality and send it directly to the FCC.

Another option is to head over to the filings page what Pai calls 'Restoring Internet Freedom'. You can get there by clicking this link here (https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/search/filings?proceedings_name=17-108), then click on the +Express hyperlink on the left-hand side. That will bring up a form that you can fill out with your comments.

^The above image shows where you can fill out the form on the left hand side.

Here is direct link to the site again in case the other one doesn't work: https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/search/filings?proceedings_name=17-108

Remember to be polite and professional when you voice your opinions about the importance of net neutrality. Local representative are more willing to listen to well-thought out ideas rather than having to read angry comments or other statements that will put them on the defensive.

Also, feel free to share this information as many places as possible to help get the word out about it.
