ways to protect your energy:

  • be mindful of what you're observing on social media
  • practice breathwork. breathe deeper.
  • take breaks
  • observe, don't absorb
  • pay attention to the way you feel around certain people and environments
  • clean your space
  • learn to not take things personally. Understand that most people are wounded children in adult bodies.

  • use powerful affirmations (i am safe, guided and protected)

how to make your real world feel like your magical fantasy world?

  • make a list of the colors, textures, sounds, and scents most common in your daydreams and look for them in new experiences
  • give each chore or errand you have to do its own specifically themed for the character you want to be while doing it
  • find spaces that create a culture for your different selves, collect what illustrates your personal universe, follow style instincts - not trends
  • make up a subplot or side quest for it. let it inspire your lunch choice. think of how the things you encounter play into it
  • give fantastical names to the ordinary places and objects you use + come across every day. refer to them as such in your planner and diary
  • stay curious. give small details big stories.

Knowledge doesn't reside only in a college degree

Neither too stoic to avoid being made a fool of, nor too nihilistic to avoid seeming boring

"Wow, i haven't seen you around"
"Yes, i was arrested"
